Kids Programs on Holland America Line

Holland America’s Club HAL, included in the fare, offers engaging programs for children and teens aged 3 to 17 to enjoy a family-friendly environment that entertains young guests and allows parents to relax.

Youth Programs

Club HAL offers age-specific activities designed to spark creativity and fun for young guests.

• Kids Programs (Ages 3–6): Children enjoy a range of activities including crafts, games, and themed parties like “Dino-Mite Night” and “Ships Ahoy Pirate Treasure Hunt Adventure.” These engaging events encourage imagination and fun in a supervised setting.
• Tweens Programs (Ages 7–11): Tweens participate in diverse activities such as arts and crafts, sporting events, gaming tournaments, and themed parties. These programs foster social interaction and creativity for an enjoyable onboard experience.
• Teens Programs (Ages 13–17): Teens engage in daytime sports challenges and group games, with exclusive evening events like Poker Night and Video Game Tournaments hosted by Club HAL staff. These activities offer a balance of competition and relaxation in a teen-focused space.

Unique enrichment opportunities allow kids to explore new skills and interests.  Kids can also enjoy themed events like Dino-Mite Night, Ships Ahoy Pirate Treasure Hunt Adventure and BBC Earth Experiences.

Planning Considerations

Families can easily plan their children’s participation with flexible registration and supervision options.  Register on embarkation day in person. Late-night babysitting is not officially available on Holland America.
