What’s Included with Your MSC Cruise

MSC Cruises offers a well-rounded cruise experience with a variety of inclusions designed to provide value, flexibility and enjoyment for a wide range of travelers. While the cruise fare covers many core amenities, guests can personalize their experience further through optional packages or by selecting an upgraded fare type like the MSC Experiences (Bella, Fantastica, Aurea and Yacht Club), which offer different levels of service and added perks.

Dining

Every MSC cruise includes complimentary dining at the Main Dining Room and buffet venues, such as the Marketplace Buffet. These offer a rotating selection of international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some casual spots, including pizzerias, poolside grills and snack bars are also included at no extra cost. Specialty dining venues such as Butcher’s Cut Steakhouse, Kaito Sushi Bar and Hola! Tacos & Cantina are available for an additional fee and can be reserved individually or as part of a dining package.

Beverages

MSC includes basic beverages such as tap water, iced tea, coffee and some juices during mealtimes in buffet areas. Alcoholic drinks, bottled water, soda and specialty coffees are not included in the standard fare but can be added through beverage packages. Options range from an Alcohol-Free Package to the Premium Extra Package, which include a wide selection of wines, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks up to $16 US dollars.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the base fare and are added to guest accounts as a daily service charge. Rates vary by itinerary, destination and class of cabin but are typically around $14.50 to $20 per person, per day. These cover tips for dining staff, housekeeping, and other front-line crew members. Guests staying in the MSC Yacht Club may have gratuities included in their fare, depending on the market and sailing.

Wi-Fi

Internet access is not included in the standard cruise fare. MSC offers Wi-Fi packages that can be purchased in advance or onboard, tailored to basic browsing or full-streaming capabilities. Discounts are usually available for pre-cruise purchases through the MSC website or app.

Fitness and Entertainment

Guests have complimentary access to the ship’s fitness center, pools, hot tubs, and open-air sports courts. Daily entertainment is included and includes theatrical shows, live music, themed parties and international dance performances. Access to the thermal spa area, fitness classes and spa treatments is available for a fee, although some inclusions may apply to Aurea and Yacht Club guests.

Youth Programs

MSC’s youth programming is available at no additional cost. The Kid’s Club is divided by age group, offering supervised activities, themed parties, video games and arts and crafts. The Doremi mascot, LEGO-themed play areas and teen zones add fun and flexibility for families.
